Pioneering “Twilight Daycare: The Show” wins Cartoons on the Bay Pulcinella Metaverse Award

Wind Sun Sky Entertainment (WSS), pioneer in multi-platform entertainment, and Gamefam, the leading metaverse game developer, publisher and strategist, have won the Cartoons on the Bay Pulcinella Metaverse Award for their hit Roblox series, Twilight Daycare: The Show. A recent category for the festival, last year’s winner Hello Kitty places Twilight Daycare: the Show in great company as leaders in the metaverse space. The award will be presented at Cartoons on the Bay in Italy on Friday, May 31st.

Twilight Daycare:The Show marks a groundbreaking achievement as the first ever animated series fully produced and distributed in Roblox. The innovative series is a game changer for animation, proving that as the metaverse grows and changes, animation is able to adapt to what is popular. Viewers were able to watch the premiere episode during an exclusiver 5-day in-game window, and following an overwhelmingly positive response with 1.6 million viewers tuning in, the entire series was shown in January, 2024.

Boasting over 7 million views to date, the Show seamlessly blends captivating entertainment with the beloved roleplay dynamics familiar to Twilight Daycare fans. As the first-of-its-kind, the experience provides viewers with the chance to step into the world of Twilight Daycare: The Show, through the Roblox game.

This pioneering roleplay experience offered viewers the opportunity to transition between watching the Show and then participating in a related challenge within the Twilight Daycare game. After viewing the premiere episode, players assumed the role of one of the newly empowered caretakers within the Daycare only to find that one of their babies, Baby B, is missing! Tasked with finding Baby B before the return of the Daycare’s boss, Ms. Magdalin, players went on a game of hide n seek and those successfully finding Baby B received a UGC reward.
