Based on the comic books created by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley, Wind Sun Sky Entertainment and Skybound North partnered with Amazon Studios to Invincible to the screen in an 8-part dramatic animated series.
The Invincible animation style was produced through our Vancouver-based studio with the support of our team in L.A. and studios in Korea and Japan. The series’ star-studded cast includes the voices of Steven Yeun, JK Simmons and Sandra Oh.
The Series released in 2021 on Amazon Prime and was a GLOBAL Hit!

Invincible Season 1 broke new ground in the world of animated superhero series with its revolutionary animation style and adult-themed storytelling.
The show’s unique combination of hand-drawn 2D animation, a style rarely seen in contemporary productions, added a nostalgic charm that resonated with fans.
However, it was the mature and thought-provoking themes, as well as its willingness to explore graphic violence and complex character development, that truly set “Invincible” apart. In doing so, it redefined the superhero animation scene, demonstrating that animated series could cater to adult audiences with intricate storytelling, intricate characters, and a willingness to push the boundaries of the genre.
