THE ADVENTURES OF TEAM POM
A synchronized swimming team, three misfit friends, a squid named Cyd, and a vengeful dodo bent on destroying the neighbourhood.
The Adventures of Team POM is based on the Golden Kite award-winning graphic novel series by Filipina author/ illustrator Isabel Roxas. An animated comedy series for tweens that combines the whimsical style of Wes Anderson with the sleuthing of Harriet the Spy and the zany mysteries of Scooby Doo.
The series is features three misfit friends – ROBERTA, AGNES AND RUBY – and their synchronized swimming coach CYD the Giant Squid, collectively Team POM. Together they make up the worst ranked synchronized swim team in all of Shadyside, and they are proud of it. When they’re not swimming, they’re investigating strange happenings in Shadyside… usually caused by an angry dodo bird bent on destroying it. But that’s just Steve.
Team Pom is a show about friendship, community, and being the most authentic version of yourself.
