ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Our partnership with HEXBUG went beyond toys, with an eight part YouTube series and a Roblox story game that connected to enrich and deepen the JUNKBOTS universe. The multi-platform approach, including custom codes on toy packaging for exclusive Roblox swag, is the strategy brands need to engage kids now.
Catherine Winder, CEO and EP at WSS, describes the JUNKBOTS universe as a boundary-pushing cross- platform narrative. Hexbug’s CEO Tony Norman emphasized that the expansion into Roblox and YouTube, catered to kids’ preferences for diverse entertainment. The partnership with Wind Sun Sky elevated the cross-platform narrative, ensuring a rich, engaging experience.
The Roblox game, Junk Wars which has had 5M plays and sits at over 80% approval rating, offers an extensive playground experience, featuring multiple mini-games, stunning graphics, animations, and cinema-worthy cut scenes.
