Position: Junior Accountant
Position Type: Full-Time Employee

JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT
Do you have experience performing a variety of accounting duties for a mid-sized corporate team? Are you familial with Quickbooks Online? You could be a fit for our full time position of Junior Accountant.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
· Responsible for the full cycle processing of Accounts Payable (entering invoices in QuickBooks Online, setting up payments in RBC Express).
· Perform monthly bank reconciliations, general ledger account reconciliations and month-end journal entries.
· Prepare GST returns and completes net filings.
· Reconcile monthly Corporate Credit Card statements and track receipts.
· Other duties as required.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
You should have a firm grasp of basic accounting principles and have a proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Excel.
You should have exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive. You should be committed to working efficiently and accurately, and you should have a good understanding of confidentiality and handling of sensitive information.
