IT HELP DESK SUPPORT

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: IT Help Desk Support
Position Type: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Vancouver, BC (In-House Role)

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Wind Sun Sky is actively looking to fill an IT Help Desk Support roll to provide day-to-day support for all IT related issues.  The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and be a pro-active problem solver who thrives in finding solutions when unexpected issues arise. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Monitor, triage and respond quickly to incoming requests related to IT issues.
  • Provide Onboarding and system setup for new employees
  • Document and monitor IT assets
  • Troubleshoot break and fix issues for the helpdesk on OSx, Windows 10, Windows Server
  • Remove users and licenses as needed.
  • Sign-out and track company devices given out to company staff.
  • Diagnose minor/major network issues
  • Engage higher level support/vendors as needed

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

  • Excellent communications skills 
  • Office 365 administration/Exchange
  • Windows Server Active Directory administration
  • Windows 10/OSX/Office 365 administration/Exchange 
  • Basic networking knowledge with DNS/DHCP/VPN/Subnetting 

BONUS POINTS AWARDED:

  • 1-2 years of experience as IT Support or IT Helpdesk 
  • Linux experience, Windows 70-4** certifications 
  • Networking certs CCNA, JNCIA, etc… 
  • Media storage experience AVID, Isilon/Powervault 
  • Experience with IT Ticketing Systems 
  • ITIL knowledge/Change management
